On 19 April 2008, after a year, the biggest-ever techno-party of Hungary, Hyperspace is back again! We can set it out in advance that the marathon event stretching from 8 pm to 8 in the morning will not be disappointing at all, as like always, Deadcode Production is presenting a first class line up again.

Besides the frontline of Hungarian techno, Detroit legend JEFF MILLS, UMEK - the one who made Slovenian techno famous, ADAM BEYER - the father of Stockholm-sound, LUCCA from the Czech Republic - aiming for the title of the best female DJ of the world, SPEEDY J - bringing his live act from Rotterdam, and also with his live show - ROBERT BABICZ from Cologne will all be here. In addition to the fantastic star-parade, a gigantic laser show, Martin Audio W8L soundsystem assuring crystal clear sound quality and the imagination of the Urbiner VJs projected on a huge surface will provide the basis of the perfect entertainment.

Further special curiosity of the event that it will last for the generations to come, as this particular night Deadcode Production will be recording the visuals and the sound of the Hyperspace DVD that is to be released int he second part of this year! So here's the chance for you to be part of a movie together with your favourite techno-stars! And although the names of the main actors probably sound more than familiar to you, furthermore you could probably just take off one of their mixes from your shelf right now, a little summary will not do any harm:

Let's start with JEFF MILLS the 'man of tomorrow', the worthy successor of Detroit traditions, the creator of the second generation classical US-techno. The technique of one of the most sought-after DJ-producers now living in Chicago is inimitable even today. There is no person in the field of techno who has not been inspired by Mills' futuristically strange techno music, or by those sounds rolling on heavy basses, full of melody. Another performer of this Hyperspace, UMEK is also one his fans. The Slovenian artists ever searching for new, moreover unusual sounds is one of the most popular figures of underground techno, of whom the experimental minimal is not distant from, either. He's one of the few who introduced the term of Slovenian techno to the world, which now attracts fans from Berlin all the way to Tokio. But to the world of 4/4s the Swedish techno was of even stronger influence than the Slovanian stream, and one of the most innovative representatives of that is ADAM BEYER. The Stockholm artist is with good reason an inevitable guest of the Hyperspace events: his records based on drums virtually created a revolution back in 1995, the Drumcode records and the label is still an authoritative of the techno world. The master of the tight-pace techno garnished with brain-excersizing loops fuses the most diverse elements of electronic music styles in the dj booth. In this scene ruled mainly by men the presence of LUCCA is a refreshing color, also heading ot Budapest on 19 April. Lucca's career got a really good kick-off after 2002, since then as the most popular DJ of the Czech Republic she is a regular invited at the greatest international festivals and clubs. Her music is praised even by Carl Cox and Umek, and for her hit titled 'Bodydance' a video was produced by the makers of Fatboy Slim's videos! Her label the Sound of Acapulco is more successful by the moment , while she herself has the unconcealed aim of the title of the best female dj of the world. We have still not quite finished the list of the performers arriving from abroad, as in addition to the dj sets of the above artist two international live acts will also appear at the Hyperspace 2008, the Dutch Speedy J and Robert Babicz from Germany. The techno-creations of astonishing power by Rotterdam-based SPEEDY J never knew any musical conventions, only the genuine techno-beats free from all compromises. His earlier records became inimitable pieces of the 90's, while his recently released Loudboxer album, written to the dancefloor of our days attracts more and more fans for Speedy J with its surprisingly new sounds. No less a unique phenomenon is ROBERT BABICZ fromGermany, who started out with chicago house, went on with acid sounds, and then found his real self in creative techno. He only performs his live acts, never as a DJ. His techno produced with his drum machines, effect pads, and special equalizers, crossing all genres is different from anything else.

Of course the most popular techno artists of Hungary must also be included in the exclusively selected line u pof this year's Hyperspace. The head of Deadcode production organizing the event since 1996, Hot X is preparing for the DJ booth with the introduction of Hyperspace 2008 mixalbum that is to be released on 10 April. Another Deadcode artist, IGOR DO'URDEN, who has the alias of Recooba as well, will also perform, as well as COYOTE, also representing Deadcode, from whom we will expectedly get a fresh and unique minimal-house-tech-elektro mixture. BUDAI who recently signed to Plastic City, will fortify his trademark by classic techno, while COLLINS & BEHNAM who are preparing for a Far Eastern tour this spring will present their booty shaking live act.
